Are you looking to rent a new home? It can be quite a daunting process but we have outlined the first few steps you need to take to find your new home with us.
REGISTER YOUR INTEREST
To register your interest in any of our properties you can either call us on 01279 881-611 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or simply fill out the 'contact us' form at the bottom of our website and we will get in touch. We are here to help you throughout the rental process.
We usually accompany and conduct all property viewings and the Landlord will not always be present. In some cases, a Landlord may give us specific times for viewings, although we do ask them to be as flexible as possible. We normally keep keys and can generally access properties to suit your availability. To save time in the long run, you should try to ensure that anyone likely to share in the decision views the property as well.
After the viewing we need to know if you have any questions or if you are interested in renting the property. So please allow time to discuss your thoughts with us.
Please be on time for viewings. We will arrange to meet you at the property, or if it is more convenient, at our office.
MAKING AN OFFER
It is possible that we will do several viewings of a property on the same day. If you like a properties, to avoid disappointment, please make an offer as soon as possible.
Having viewed the property and arrived at a decision to make an application to rent, we require all applicants to complete a referencing form, which will then be processed to verify the information provided. There is no cost to you of this referencing and you should note that any landlord or agent trying to pursue funds from you for this service is acting illegally. The submission of the referencing application is no guarantee of tenancy. A final decision as to whether a tenancy can proceed will depend on responses received and will be made in consultation with the landlord.
A GUIDE FOR TENANTS
We have put together a guide for tenants which should answer some of the questions you may have. Please click on the image below to read this:
